Empowering Educators, Strengthening Communities.
Making it possible for early educators to live where they teach.
Our Mission
At Ubuntu Alliance,
we are dedicated to fostering excellence in early childhood education by providing vital support to educators
and ensuring access to
affordable housing.
What We Do
A self-sustaining model for ECE, so they can live where they inspire, nurture, and lead. Learn more about our first project.
CULTIVATE
An environment where teachers can afford to live in the communities that they serve.
CREATE
A thriving community where teachers are valued and empowered.
BUILD
Mobilize donations and secure grants to build a brighter future for both ECE educators and the children they inspire.
Our Pilot Project
With the help of an angel investor,
we purchased a gorgeous acre plot of land in Leucadia on Plato Place.
Now we plan to build housing for
9 teacher families.
Why It Matters
The people shaping our children’s earliest years shouldn’t have to choose between serving their community and affording a place to live.
Yet for many early educators, that’s the impossible choice they face every day.
Despite playing a foundational role in children’s development, early educators often earn minimum wage, with minimal or no benefits, making housing in their communities unaffordable.
Ubuntu Alliance exists to change that.
We believe those who care for our youngest deserve access to safe, stable, and affordable homes—right where they work and live.
